Academic Coaches
Academic Coaches work directly with students to increase academic success and are students’ main point of contact for academic resources. They create learning plans, monitor student pace and progress, and ensure students have all the tools, supplies, and support they need to maintain their educational goals.
Assistant Principals
Assistant Principals provide direct support to teachers and students. They monitor teacher efficacy and provide support and direction concerning student success metrics. Additionally, Teacher Mentors lead academic remediation efforts, including working directly with students and organizing Teacher groups to provide additional instruction for students through alternative education programs.
Enrollment Counselor
Enrollment Counselors connect with prospective students who are provided by a school district or state or have requested information through our website. They determine students’ eligibility for our programs, guide them through the enrollment process, and get them connected with an Academic Coach to begin the journey to graduation.
Local Advocates
Local Advocates work closely with dropout recovery students to identify and reduce/eliminate life challenge barriers to engagement. They meet with students weekly to check in, help them meet program expectations, work on homework and assessments, and provide encouragement.
Program Manager
Program Managers strengthen and maintain district partnerships to ensure programs run smoothly and students and districts are served in the best way possible. They drive revenue and student enrollment in K-12 schools and community organizations and are the primary point of contact for school administrators and community organizations.
Student Success Coordinator
Student Success Coordinators work with our partner colleges to support post-secondary students. They develop strong, positive relationships with students; ensure students have the tools, supplies, and support they need to maintain their goals; solve student concerns; and improve the student experience to boost retention and graduation rates.
Teachers
Teachers are responsible for the overall facilitation and management of courses. They assess students’ work, maintain engagement through feedback and outreach, and provide academic intervention. In addition to working with students, Teachers also collaborate with each other and the curriculum team to create our online curriculum.
Vice President of Program Development
Vice Presidents of Program Development work with school districts around the country to build strong partnerships. They are experts on alternative education and dropout recovery — for high school and college — and work with partners to understand the unique needs of their student populations so we can work together to pave supportive alternative pathways to graduation for youth and adults.
